Freezing at boot unless the -f flag is used ( IOACPIFamily ?)

Recommended Posts

I can only boot with the -f flag. If I don't do that, boot seems to hang (screenshot attached). Other than that and an occasional blank screen (using NVidia Web Drivers for 10.10.5), which fixes itself after another reboot, (using DVI, no vga) the system seems to be working fine. System is a Dell Vostro 200 Desktop with Award BIOS 1.0.16, Niresh Yosemite 10.10.1 installed, then upgraded to 10.10.5 via Apple Update. This problem was carried over from 10.10.1 though. Multibeast 7.5.0 with EasyBeast default and no additional things checked by me.

- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 @ 2.4GHz

- 4GB DDR2-800 RAM

- Graphic Card: nVidia GeForce 8600GTS

- MotherBoard Chipset: Foxconn G33M02

- Ethernet: Intel 82562V-2 10/100Mb built-in Ethernet

- Audio Card: Realtek ALC888 Audio (7.1)

I have tried repairing permissions and resetting the cache using Kext Wizard to no avail. This is my first hackintosh so I am a total noob. Please bare with me.
