±Hackintosh on PC? Great!

Recommended Posts

Mavericks (10.9.5) is doin' fine, as well as Yosemite (10.10.2).

- Motherboard: Gigabyte X48-DQ6 with latest F8 bios. Used DSDT (F6) to install.

- Processor: Intel Q6600 quadcore, 4 x 2,43 GHz. Slight overclocked.

- RAM: 4 x 1GB DDR2, Kingston KHX8500.

- PSU: brandnew Recom Power Engine 600 Plus.

- Soundcard: onboard, ALC 889A. Works without VooDoo.

- HDD: Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB SSD. WD Black 1 TB. Both on SATA II. Trim enabled on SSD, not sure about Overprovisioning.

- Graphics: Asus GT520 Silent. No need to install anything.

- Network: Wireless, TP-Link WDN4800. Works OOB, 'Airport Extreme'.

Just another old socket 775, working fine with Mac as well as Windows 8.1 (x64) and Windows 10 TP (build 9926, x64).

Why buying al that new stuff?  :)
