  1. Hey guys, Had a somewhat successful install of Niresh Catalina on a P8z77v-Premium mobo with with an i5-3570K CPU and 16GB RAM. I'm donating the computer to my mother but having a few graphics issues. The graphics are being supplied by the i5 I believe? Screen doesn't come back on all the time after sleep. Upon restart, the screen may not come on and it will mean I have to force a shutdown and restart If I use HDMI the system will boot to the below image, if I attach a DP lead as well as the HDMI I can get a workable screen. Very odd behaviour that I am trying to rectify before handing it over. Any help would be appreciated.

In simplified terms both the USB and HDD need to have an EFI partition created where Clover is installed. They should both be exactly the same in terms of content so if, as is your case, your USB boots fine but the HDD doesn't then that implies your kexts are in the wrong folder on your HDD EFI partition or you are missing some important kexts. Make sure you have the latest version of Clover installed and put the relevant Kexts in the "other " folder. Make sure you have, at a minimum, FakeSMC.kext & NullCPUPowerManagement.kext in EFI/CLOVER/KEXTS/OTHER folder.
  3. Not to shrug your question off but you should then really take the matter up with Adobe on their forums. They'll prob ask you to submit a crash report.
  4. Is the version of photoshop you're using a torrent?
  5. I'm familiar with Clover, Chimera & Chameleon boot loaders and as stated I have no experience with Transmac. Did you install a bootloader? If so what is it? So you start the machine, press F8/F12 to access boot menu and select the USB drive and this results in a black screen? Or have you setup the USB for preferential booting in the BIOS? Maybe you've tried both? Are you able to boot from other USB devices now or ever?
  6. Have you installed the HDMI audio driver? If no then use Google.
  7. How are you trying to install Sierra? Are you using a bootable USB or upgrading? Assuming USB, how was it created? More info is needed to help.

Mount your EFI partition from your "already installed" drive using Clover Configurator then copy the contents of your EFI partition on the USB over so that both are the same. Your issue sounds as though you have the kext files in the wrong folder on your "already installed" drive.
  9. I've no experience with using Transmac, that said, your symptoms would imply that the installer wasn't created successfully. A distant second possibility could arise if you 2 monitors connected. Try disconnecting one of them as there are known issues with dual monitor setups with Sierra/HS.
  10. I am having the same issue after an upgrade from Sierra. Having awful issues trying to get it installed on my machine and this is the latest hurdle. Mobi is an an Asus P8Z77V-Premium. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Here’s a video... https://yadi.sk/i/qSBLq4C43PRB7L
