  1. Have you already tried the so called "Save Boot Mode" ? Follow these steps to start up into Safe Mode. Be sure your Mac is shut down. Press the power button. Immediately after you hear the startup sound, press and hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be pressed as soon as possible after startup, but not before the startup sound. Release the Shift key when you see the Apple logo appear on the screen. After the Apple logo appears, it may take longer than usual to reach the login screen. This is because your computer is performing a directory check as part of Safe Mode. To leave Safe Mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup. Check Lenovo G580 Manual for more help.
  2. You simply have to change the Boot Order in your laptop's BIOS. To access the BIOS, hit the F2 key right when you turn your laptop on (while the Dell symbol is still being displayed). The menu that loads is called the BIOS. Press and hold the ALT key, and press the P key to move through the menu pages. I believe it is the second page where you will see the Boot Order settings. Simply change the first boot device to cd-rom drive and then hit the ESC key and choose YES if prompted to save. Hit CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart your computer and try to boot from the CD. I highly recommend that you set the first boot device to your hard drive so that your laptop starts up faster. Check Dell Latitude E6410 Manual for more support.
  3. Please attempt the following steps: Clean the LCD screen. Turn off the computer closely examine the condition of the screen. Take notice of any smudges or areas to be cleaned. Use a microfiber cloth to remove any obvious dust and gently brush off any dirt particles. Proper cleaning kits should be used to clean and keep your LCD displays in a crisp clear pristine condition. Never spray any cleaning solutions directly on to the screen; spray it into the cleaning cloth. Very gently wipe the screen in a circular motion. Do not press hard on the cloth. Do not leave any liquid on the screen. Remove all excess moisture as it may damage your screen. For stains that are hard to remove, repeat this procedure as needed. Let the LCD screen dry thoroughly before you turn it back on. For more help approach Dell Latitude E6420 Manual.
