  1. Yes I went 100% vanilla instead from AMD-OSX as I have an AMD CPU.
  2. Hi. I am currently stuck at this. System Specs: AMD FX 6300 CPU Radeon R9 280X 3GB 14GB RAM
  3. No offence but you really don't have a clue what you're talking about.. "Check ISO to see if Mavericks is loaded" - What the hell are you talking about? You don't "check" to see if the "ISO is loaded" for one. Distributions just cause issues so I installed Mavericks with the vanilla method with a modified kernel. And I successfully got a working vanilla OS X installation like 6 months ago, so I don't need any help with this. Unfortunately people who use Niresh's distro and come here for help hardly get replies until 6-8 months later which is rather pathetic.
  4. @Josue Orozco try this way. - Use Kext Wizard to install the RealtekRTL8111.kext directly into System/Library/Extensions. Then Find IONetworkingFamily.kext. Open it's contents and place a copy of "PCGenRTL8139Ethernet.kext" directly into "SystemLibraryExtensionsIONetworkingFamily.kextContentsPlugIns".
  5. When you installed the Realtek81x kext in S/L/E how did you install it? Which version of OS X are you running? Mountain Lion, Mavericks or Yosemite?
  6. Hi. Niresh OS X Mavericks 10.9.0 installation keeps failing and the log saying "Error extracting 'Essentials.pkg'. It's either failing on extracting the Essentials package or the InstallESD.dmg. I'm not too sure. The installation error log file(s) are attached. Installer Log 5-Sep-2014.txt install.txt ATTENTION!: The install.txt file is directly from the Mavericks HD hard disk. (Path: L:privatevarlog) Help would be greatly appreciated! PC Specs:
  7. Hey guys. I'd rather appreciate more help than I've previously had when I've turned to you for help... yet the support I received wasn't the best and I didn't get any further replies and was left in the shadows of issues. I ask that you please help me as best you can this time, if you don't know what's wrong please tell me. I have installed Niresh Mavericks on my AMD Phenom II system once successfully and got to the desktop but I accidentally rebooted the system as it was configuring the system. I had to reinstall and here now is where I have installation hanging issues. My installation has been at "About a minute" for an hour and 30 minutes now and I am unsure why. This is the 3rd time I have had to try the installation again by recovering from an install via the USB stick and continue. I have also tried erasing the drive in Disk Utility and trying installation again but still gets stuck at 1 minute. Picture: I can't upload the picture where I got into the desktop as iHost says file is too big. Anyway, PLEASE help me. I am at a wits end here. Thank you.
  8. Hello, I followed the OS X Mavericks in VirtualBox tutorial step for step, yet it did not work. I did everything as instructed on that tutorial, but when I rebooted the VM to start it after installation and unchecked the .ISO it comes up with this: My system specifications: CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 4GB RAM GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO 512 (It says 512 but it's 1GB) Here is the installation screen: Please could I get help?? Thanks.
  9. "amd64 / amd" just returns saying "not found". I've tried -v -f -x and I still get "CPU halted". Tried arch=x86_64 also.
  10. So now when I attempt to boot, I enter my Boot Manager, select my USB stick which Niresh USB Installer in installed on and then I select my hard disk with which I installed OS X... I boot with the following flags: [*]-v [*]-x [*]-f [*]amd63 (not found) I've tried (all the above): [*]npci=0x2000 [*]GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No (both) I don't know what else to try without just giving up. Which ever I try now I get "OS X Mavericks cannot be verified successfully" then "CPU halted" and it shuts my system down.
  11. This is not a virtual machine, Deepak. I have Mountain Lion running on VMWare fine, just trying to install Niresh Mavericks on a USB 3.0 500GB portable Hard Drive is the problem. When I went through the Niresh Mavericks installer, it completed successfully and rebooted this time around...but then it crashes and fails after this screen: Region+capture+10.png I am unsure how to actually describe what happens... it comes up with a loading bar under the Apple logo after the above screen then stops and my screen goes black and says "No HDMI signal input" and then absolutely nothing happens unless I manually reboot the system. (this is an AMD Phenom II X6 CPU PC with an NVIDIA GeForce 8 series Graphics Card) I am assuming this is a kernel panic but it doesn't actually show the kernel panic at all.
  12. OSX just crashes to a black screen/kernel panic when attempting to boot. I cannot seem to get passed this part:
  13. Well it's not exactly an error that appears, it's just when I try to start the booting after installation (it completed the installation apparently according to some people on InsanelyMac) I don't get any boot screen or menu to type in any flags...it's just a black screen with a white "_" at the top left of the screen and that's all that happens...so I'm assuming it won't boot at all. Please don't hijack my thread. Make your own please.
  14. Hey guys. So today, I checked out Niresh's Mavericks (w/ AMD support) and followed the "How to install OS X Mavericks on your PC with Niresh" and encountered an error literally just before the installation completed. Here are some screenshots taken from my S4: My specs are: CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 (1090T BE) (Which Niresh confirmed that AMD Phenom II X6 1090T is fully compatible with his Mavericks distro) Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 RAM: 4GB I installed the Niresh Mavericks Installer (.dmg) on a virtual machine of OS X Mountain Lion's Disk Utility (not on Windows'). All of that worked fine. I was able to boot into the installer on my 32GB SanDisk USB stick and was installing Mavericks on a portable USB 3.0 (Western Digital Passport) hard disk. Please help!
