    Ati HD Radeon 4650

    Will it work with 4670?
  2. So, I have AMD Athlon II X2 250 and VTX Radeon HD 4670, which OSX recognises as hd 4600, it has 1gb ram. Now, I installed the OSX with boot flag GraphicsEnabler=No and some other stuff, and now I have a strange issue. When I for example open youtube and start watching a vid, the vid loads ect. and the video runs fine, but after like 45 seconds it starts to stutter and the only way i can keep it to play smoothly is if i move my mouse around. Then it started to happen on every thing i open, including about my mac. When I click on it it just stays there and when I move my mouse then it loads up to the little window with os version, cpu and ram. What could it possibly be? Nothing happens until I press a key or move my mouse. I thought it might be just a flash problem when it happened in youtube, so i updated it but that didn't help. Maybe my gpu? PS: also, all icons in launchpad have only red and white colours in them
  3. For some reason, it won't let me post pictures in the first post so I'll post again. Anyways, this happens all the time. (Couldn't post picture because it was too big for the uploader here http://www77.zippyshare.com/v/PUtmGVSX/file.html Happens on all profile pictures on Facebook news feed and chat, happens to all album arts on iTunes and also happens to almost any picture (I'm wondering why didn't it happen to that picture that I uploaded.
  4. So, I installed the yosemite from the page, the only thing I am having troubles now is the graphics. I have some "artifacts" in safari and chrome, everything works in Chrome on youtube, i can watch videos but the graphics are artifacted, like letters on facebook for example, not all, but some yes. Also, on safari, Every profile picture has some horizonstal red lines. And I cant make a screenshot. I press Shift + command + 3 and it makes a file on my desktop, but its blank, there is nothing on it. My GPU is VTX3d Radeon HD 4670 1GB version, and in about my mac it says it is "ATI Radeon HD 4600 1024 MB". So I guess the gpu is recognized, or not? I boot without GraphicsEnabler, and I tried it on =Yes and it stuck on some Bluetooth issue, pressed a key, my pc didn't signal it and it just stayed there. Should I install some kexts for it? I can't really find any and I'm new to hackintoshing, this is my second but first which works without issues, except GraphicsEnabler=Yes obivously. The Vendor is ATI (0x1002) and device ID is 0x9490 edit: i booted up with GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1, same thing happens
  5. OK, so I booted it with flags -v npci=0x2000 maxmem=6144 USBBusFix=Yes nv_disable=1 cpus=1 and it got me to this screen.
  6. OK this time I disabled some kexts and after 5 tries I managed to install it Booted up without the USB, with flags -v npci=0x2000 maxmem=6144 USBBusFix=Yes and I booted up almost all the way until it got stuck at this screen. From what I've read, that slot 1 should be the GPU but also this power management issue is suspicious as well.
  7. OK, so I used these kexts /amd -v npci=0x2000 maxmem=6144 USBBusFix=Yes and I booted up the installer Now, I installed with all default options, except I chose npci=0x2000 option, disabled GraphicsEnabler and I installed it. The installation was going great until the last minute, last 0,5 cm of the installer loading bar, then I got the message saying "OSX could not be installed on your computer. The operation couldn't be completed. Undefined error: 0 Quit the installer and restart your computer and try again. Tried again with the same settings, same thing happened. I saved all the logs, only errors, errors and progress and all logs. all logs.txt errors and progress log.txt errors only log.txt Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
  8. MBO: ASUS M4A88T-M CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 250 @ 3.0 Ghz RAM: 6GB DDR3 Transcent 1333 MHz, 1x2GB + 1x4GB GPU: VTX3D Radeon HD4670 1GB HDD 1: WD Green 160GB HDD 2: Not really sure which one, it is SATA and im installing it there That is my configuration. I downloaded the dmg image from the site, used TransMac to put it on my usb and I switched the settings I could in BIOS (virtualisation, S3 mode, AHCI on SATA options). Now, I booted with /amd and it stuck at the boot screen, as you can see. Then I tried to boot with /amd npci=0x2000, same thing happened. So then I booted with the same bootflags and added maxmem=4096, I got the same screen that I stuck on, except when I moved my mouse, the loading bar actually filled, but just like 0,5%. I went to verbose to see why is it stuck there, same bootflags, but I tried /amd64, so it was exactly like this /amd64 -v npci=0x2000. It lead me to that same error like the title suggests: "RTC : Only single RAM bank (128 bytes)" stuck there, won't move anywhere. What should I do? I was looking around and I didn't find anything relevant to this error on Yosemite. Also, when I boot up (I have HDMI to DVI cable, my screen is 21,5'' 1080p, and has DVI output so DVI is in screen and HDMI is in the PC), it happens to stay a bit tiled, so the screen (this is happening with the POST screen as well) is a bit cutoff, looks like its zoomed out, slammed in the middle of the screen, not stretched out. Any reason why that is so, or is it just GraphicsEnabler? EDIT: I tried to boot /amd1 -v npci=0x2000 maxmem=6144 and it got me past that RTS thing but not very far. If you can't read it, it says USBF: 6.401 AppleUSBEHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 6.403 AppleUSBEHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 6.457 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 6.462 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep Now I'm stuck there and I don't know what to do next.
  9. It starts to boot, shows everything cause of -v and restarts
  10. So, as I don't have an 8 gig usb stick i decided to download the iso file of the yosemite 10.10.01 i found here. But first, my configuration MBO: ASUS M4A88T-M CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 250 @ 3.0 Ghz RAM: 6GB DDR3 Transcent 1333 MHz, 1x2GB + 1x4GB GPU: VTX3D Radeon HD4670 1GB HDD 1: WD Green 160GB HDD 2: Not really sure which one, it is SATA and im installing it there PSU: Xilence 420W, 120mm Burned it to a dual layer dvd and tried to boot. Now, as i have an amd cpu i booted with /amd and it lead me to the screen with the MaconPC logo and a loading bar, which didn't fill and i waited for more then 10 minutes. it didnt even start to fill So i went and tried /amd1, /amd2, /amd32 and /amd64, each time with -v and it would either restart or give me a kernel panic. so i tried to boot /amd -v again and it lead me to the pci configuration part and it stuck there, so, following the install guide i reseted and booted with /amd -v npci=0x2000 and then it lead me past the pci configuration part but is now stuck at a line which keeps repeating "Still waiting for root device." The dvd is in the tray, sata hdd is not and #1 in hdd list but that's not the problem. After I took this photo it started to say "Still waiting for root device" and it kept repeating that, one at a minute. Anyone?
